Keep an eye out for trees in decline like this ash tree in Town.  Hot, dry summers can often induce symptoms in the crown of susceptible trees such as premature leaf drop, leaf yellowing and dieback.  Climate change may be increasing the frequency and extent of such symptoms. The ash tree in the photograph is likely to have ash die-back which will eventually kill the tree.
